Product Highlight: AFCO Metric Brake Calipers
AFCO offers both an aluminum and a cast iron version of our GM Metric Caliper. The aluminum is perfect for your more open competition modified racing that still requires the use of a metric size caliper. Some of the things that separate this from others in the market are how it’s built, the dual bleeder system, the piston design, and more. Thanks to the dual bleeder there’s no right or left so it’s easy to have a spare in your trailer.
If you have to run stock GM Metric calipers, our cast iron version is perfect for you. We offer undersized and oversized piston. They both will meet a rule book that says you have to use a stock casting because it will look stock. Use these to tune your bra...

AFCO BNC2 Bounce Control Shocks Promo
is there a calculator like you have on your site for exhaust pipe but for headers?
Thats a big PC.
S10 shocks? What have you got for a double-adjustable rear shock for an S10 with stock leaf springs? Thanks!
I thought it was the other way around, short skinny pipes is good for torque and towing, and long fatter pipes was good for high end speed and horsepower???
So the Top of the shock is rebound and bottom is compression as it's not clear on the fronts.
is this clockwise or anti
oof. Definity not the place to buy headers
Btw your website is not allowing emails keeps saying enter a valid email address
I was curious if you all could make a custom set of shocks. I really like the four way adjustable dominators you offer but looking for one set with the following with two eyelets: STROKE (IN): 9.252 GAS PRESSURE (PSI): 200.000 EXT LENGTH (IN): 26.223 COMP LENGTH (IN): 16.971 Second set with the following one stud on top one eyelet on bottom: STROKE (IN): 5.464 GAS PRESSURE (PSI): 200.000 EXT LENGTH (IN): 16.772 COMP LENGTH (IN): 11.308 I’ve also been wondering about how to deal with axel wrap and watched your videos about increasing the second team to the center of the eyelet and really like the idea of the slide and comaro shackles but was wondering if there would be an even more intriguing combination of shackle that would be able to allow the bottom of the comaro shackle to slide in an ark as limiting the rear slide of the top of the shackle at the same time preventing the bottom of the shackle from ever snapping forward? Maybe there could be a rear traction bar assembly in the opposite geometry coming from the rear of the cross frame attaching to the top of the axle so there would not be any risk of losing ground clearance and using a bump stop to prevent it from ever coming to far into the bed or body of the vehicle?
Our advertised lengths of our 4-way shocks are all that we can offer at this time. Refer to Page 15 in our catalog for dimensions. As for the reset, we don't have anything to offer. You can always call us if email doesn't work. 800-632-2320
Always wondered what the differece is between mounting shocks in front of the rear axle or on the back of the rear axle?
How can I get AFCO shock absorbers in india for Baja sae race
Send us an email on our website!
😃 *PromoSM*
I tried to order one from Lethal Performance and they said the foxbody manual &automatic ones have been discontinued 😢
Dam i just tried ordering a Foxbody radiator from Lethal Performance and they said that you guys discontinued your sbf Foxbody radiator
Can I use this shocks for big tire slick and also small tire radial?
What do you have for Foxbody mustang
Hey, we have some options! Contact Eric at 8006322320 extension 6202 or eesaffell@afcoracing.com. We can get you what you need!
is it possible to buy a rear shock but have it fitted with rubber mount piece from the front shock - to be used in a different application.
Hey guys: can you an in depth video with sprintcar shocks, compression/ rebound. Tuning etc. Thanks.
Great info, thanks guys. I’ve got a question though. If you lengthen the upper and lower control arms on a double wishbone front suspension but keep the shock mounting point the same, is there any adverse effects? If your shocks are vertical before should you be angling them out if you lengthen the arms?
You’ve effectively changed your motion ratio
Awesome shocks guys! I own the big gun x canister shocks
Thank you Eric & Rex foe always educating others with the priceless knowledge
Is it better to have a dual closed shroud or dual shroud with slots??
Is it crazy that I am going to try and run a competitive USRA Stock Car with inexpensive 14-Series "box" shocks? Probably, but it will be fun.
How'd you make out?
Finally some advice that my simpleton mind can understand. Thank You!
very cool info I always wondered the difference between the models. once again Great video Guys
I love the little story you guys always add to the videos they are not only funny yet provide insight and knowledge which is priceless
always putting out great information on Afco products great job guys
If there is enough flow larger will not help high rpm power and will hurt low end I'm not sure about the shorter If savaging is more effective at high rpm with shorter headers then ok but other wise it should not make a difference
so informative great video guys
I could tell that Rex's mind was going into overdrive. On things he could do, in order to the shocks, so they will do more. Of what he wants them to do...
For the style of shocks they use today. If I was traveling any distance. I would be either have older shocks on for the ride. Or as I have seen on sprint cars. Rods with eyelets on them to fasten in place of the shocks for the ride to the track. Yes, I know that they made air bag ride systems that go under the car. To air up and keep the car from oscillating up and down in the trailer. My deal is not everyone is going to want to spend money on something like an air bag system for transport. Which my thinking is proving actual ways of addressing. By using items they possibly already have available to them... Now I would use the WD40 to clean the shock off before I did any adjustments. Then use actually lubricant on the heims.
I believe AFCO Might be the right choice for the Pro mod Diesel truck build for Po Boys Diesel RUclips Channel Ive been following along for some time now and I have been weighing out the benefits of AFCO's technology. Lets see what the future holds. Great job on the Videos and the products!
Just getting into the sport now and I am loving putting the car together! Everything is pretty simple as a beginner, but I can see how things can get more and more technical when trying to find time on the track.
Every RUclips video on this subject sucks. Someone please explain!
Damn this kid is very smart at a young age very good guy
Hey, how about the circle track and road racing guys
I purchased a set of 3850BG T2 rear shock back in 2013. I literally had 2 runs at the track and life happens so I had to put the truck on the back burner. I pulled the shocks off and have had them sitting with the springs still on them till now. My question is would they still be ok or would sitting there affect there performance. The reason I ask is because with them full tight on the compression one Im barely able to compress it by hand (springs removed) and it feels good. The other one doesn't feel the same it compresses a whole lot easier. I've heard before you can't really tell anything that way. I just figure it it's moving that way by hand it definitely going to be softer installed under power with transbrake and slicks.Just curious what you guys think. Can I get them rebuilt or do I just wait til I run the truck before I do anything? Thank you
350z headers?
Sorry, we do not have any headers for Nissans.
whats the measurements? We need an Acura Integra full rad with the upper and lower hose inlet/outlets moved to the driver's side instead of the passenger side.
Absolutely right sir ! It’s all about the pressure the gases are going at. And that pressure decides the thrust for the horsepower produced !
Can this keep a V6 400hp turbocharged daily engine cool?
Great video! Can’t believe I’m the 2nd like...
Do the fans add any real benefit to the heat exchanger think about adding one to my Roush charged expedition?
Definitely! Especially if the car's been tuned or is driven pretty hard.
No they don’t lol. It’s just a gimmick. The only thing that matters is capacity.
@@BlazerghostI agree! The fans kill your alternator too.
Hell yeah thanks for the video. My pump just went out and shop says worst case 2hrs for labor. But i can do this myself.
what's the formula to find out for torque in wave tuning exhaust
Fuck afco! Christan base fuck wits
Which series shock was the first one?
love the way the site is set up
Finally someone made one actually look like a sprinter or midget, Quarter midgets have ALWAYS looked like ugly garage built after thoughts. Something always just didn’t look right no matter what brand. 👍 nice job Stanley!
Future Sprintcar champion in the making :)
